MNEP Establishes Five Neighborhood Groups PDF Print E-mail

Moraga Neighborhood Emergency PreparednessThe Moraga Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness Committee is reporting significant progress in the last couple of weeks. They have held 10 neighborhood meetings, with an average of nine neighbors attending. There have also been five follow-up meetings (with an average of eight attendees) where Neighborhood Groups have been formed.

The neighborhood meetings are also bringing rewards for Lamorinda CERT: at least 12 of participants in the neighborhood groups have signed up for CERT training.

MNEP also reports that the Boy Scouts of America have added a new Merit Badge (Emergency Preparedness). MNEP was contacted by Troop 200 to work with the troop.
