Lamorinda CERT Foundation has hand-held 2-way radios for sale. The current model is Baofeng UV-82HP. These repeater capable radios have 2 transmit / receive channels and 3 power setting with 128 memory channels on UHF and VHF (2 meters and 440 cm). Programmed for the purchaser’s use according to their FCC licenses (or no license). Uses the standard LARIG channels for the Lamorinda area. This is the radio we use in class and in the neighborhoods.

You can order them online and pick them up on Tuesday mornings at the LARIG coffee meeting in front of Cafe Teatro below the Orinda Library. This coffee meeting is held from 9:30 – 11:00 each week. If you want to use this option, Order and pay for your radio and then send an email to registrar@lamorindacert.org and tell us which Tuesday you want to pick up your radio.
Order your radio online and pick it up during our regular Drum and Fire Extinguisher Sale pickup day, currently May 31 from 9:00 – noon.
Order your radio online and opt for delivery. Delivery in Lamorinda is $10, outside Lamorinda, in our Extended Delivery Area of the East Bay, the fee is $20.
An email will be sent confirming your purchase and a reminder email a few days before the pickup date. The advertised prices include all sales taxes.
